Lykos Winery was founded in 1991 by Apostolos Lykos and is located in central Greece on the lovely island of Evia (Euboea), just 80 km from Athens, in the Malakonta- Eretria region.
It was created to extend the family`s restaurant activities and situated close to the winery, so as to offer the wines produced by the winery’s own vineyards.
Lykos’ family second-generation wine producers honour winemaking traditions as well as local viticultural practices through the Greek grape varieties planted in their vineyards such as Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, Athiri, Roditis, Vradiano, and Agiorgitiko, using cutting-edge technology.
On the other hand and giving an international aspect of our winery, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Malvasia, Malvasia di Candia, Viognier, Grenache Rouge, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Muscat also contribute to our vineyard. The rich experience that has been acquired, together with the love of quality wines passed down from grandfather to grandchildren, is constantly rewarded with international distinctions of our wines.
The winery also provides excellent venues for wine seminars, business presentations, and other events.
