Elixirio Company based in Konitsa is the first company in Greece to be engaged in the cultivation, production, and processing of sea-buckthorn (hippophae rhamnoides), considered as a contemporary superfood. The company cultivates more than1000 trees using completely organic methods, without use of pesticides or fertilizers. The variety planted is the richest in vitamins worldwide and has more than 190 nutrients, thus concentrating the benefits of all fruit in one, considered as a health dynamite!
Sea-buckthorn is processed with natural methods in a fully operational biotech lab that meets all the specifications and requirements of the state licensing department.
TOUR AND TASTING
Visitors of our estate will be guided to our culture, they will have the opportunity, to sample the fruits directly from the trees during the harvest season (July – September) and make their purchases from our retail store at preferential prices.
