Description

The history of the winery began in 1997 when Mr. Paterianakis made his first organic wines in Crete. Since then the philosophy of respect in nature is our way of action.
We are the second generation of wine producers, the fourth in the cultivation of the grapes, and the only winery in Crete with women as winemakers. The estate is located at a small village of Heraklion, Melesses, very easily accessible from the main road with a view towards the mountains and the sea.

TOUR AND TASTING

Visitors are having a guided tours led by a wine guide through the Domaine, its production premises, the vineyards, and the winery’s cellar.

    Tour and guided tasting of 5 selected Domaine wines, of an organic tsikoudia from local grape varieties, and of virgin olive oil. Duration: 45 min.

  • Taste the Real Crete

    Tour and guided wine tasting of 5 selected Domaine wines, of a tsikoudia from local grape varieties, and of virgin olive oil. The tasting is accompanied by a platter of selected Cretan cheeses, deli meat, and handmade marmalade. Duration: 1 hour.
