Chateau Kaniaris S.A. has been engaged in winemaking since 2006, when it acquired the former Evharis estate. The vineyards and the winery are located on the eastern slopes of Mt. Gerania, 15 km outside the town of Megara.
The company’s wines are produced from 35 hectares of privately-owned vineyards and are exported to five countries. The winery of Chateau Kaniaris was the first winery in Attica to be given a license to allow guests to visit the winery.
TOUR AND TASTING
The visitor will be guided through the vineyards and winemaking facilities.
A wine tasting takes place in the cellar and finally, the visitor will have some time to enjoy the view from the tower and see the winery’s old grape crushing sites.
