Amorgion is the first company in Greece to have patented the rakomelo and the psimeni raki back in 2003, producing and making a name for them in Greece.
A few years ago, Amorgion founded, a new distillery – winery in Amorgos together with a workshop, to produce organic wines, the Amorgian tequila made from local prickly pears, an organic raki, a distinctive ouzo, as well as local products such as prickly pear honey, local pasteli and loukoumi using an Amorgian recipe among other products.
